Summer break extended till July-05 for Kashmir colleges | KNO

Srinagar, Jul 02 (KNO): In view of soaring temperatures, the Jammu and Kashmir Higher Education Department Wednesday extended the summer break till July-05 for colleges of Kashmir division. According to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the Higher Education Department in an order said that, “In partial modification of previous orders, it is ordered that the summer vacations in all the Government Degree Colleges of Kashmir Division and Jammu Division falling under winter zone shall be extended upto July-05-2025.” Earlier the department had said that it has decided to postpone the summer vacation that was slated to be observed from July-15. Pertinently, the colleges in Kashmir division and Jammu division falling under winter zone were supposed to reopen on 03-07-2025 but after the fresh orders, the educational institutes will continue to remain closed till July-05—(KNO)
